"We shape our dwellings and our dwellings shape us."

- Winston Churchill

I am semi-retired from my own corporation, where I designed and built fireplaces as well as related items. I have been fortunate enough to have received many awards and accommodations for my design skills coupled with my creativity. I have participated in many shows and exhibits as a wood carver, using only a rubber mallet and chisels.

I now reside with my best friend Casey my dog in the small village of Honeoye, NY, located in the Finger Lakes region. My workshop overlooks a running creek, fields, and woods adorned with deer and scores of other wild life. Using the words of philosopher, Joseph Campbell, I have discovered my place of bliss; through the creation of my craft.

My homes and feeders are crafted using one to three hundred year-old barn wood. Each house/feeder has its own unique design, giving each its own individual personality and character. These bird sanctuaries are created from the heart, and are made available in order to further the beauty of nature and her enviroment.
